Princeton High School Robocup Junior Team
2022-2023
Hailing from Princeton, we intertwine the disciplines of computer science, mechanical engineering, and electrical design to create autonomous soccer robots. In 2023, we were selected as the United States representatives in the International Robocup Junior competition, where we won second place overall.
I wrote the algorithms that govern the robot's sensing, motion, and strategy; I also designed the kicker and ultrasound PCBs as well as most of the mechanical components.
I designed the Main PCB that holds many of the critical electronic components in a compact form factor, as well as the Line PCB which allows the robot to stay within the field boundaries.
I helped design the 3D printed parts (specifically the mechanical kicker assembly), finding avenues to reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity.
Woof woof.
